Dispensation of Justice - Problems of Cost, Quality and Delay

In the story of mankind, the search for the definition of 'Justice' has an incredible parallel with search for the meaning of God; both elude certainty and exactitude. The contents may be realised, but the contours cannot be defined and cunctations are not the most convenient vessels for the voyages. Like Alice or Ulysses, one may wander or stray, but, ultimately, one has to content oneself with Einstein, that, after all, God and Justice are sophisticated, but not malacious. It is not surprise that priests and pundits were original lawyers; Moses and Manu were the original law-givers. Auguste Comte justified it as the first theological stage in the evolution of human thinking in which all phenomena were explained by reference to supernatural causes and divine beings.
It looks as if there is an ever-changing fashion in the theories of law like the ladies hat in France. Cardozo once said that there are vogues and fashions in Jurisprudence as in literature, art and dress. Law, ....
