(A) Constitution of India , Art.19, Art.21— Freedom of press - Trial by media - Young wife committing suicide at her parents home within two years of her marriage - Allegations of demand of dowry made by her parents - Her in-laws taking plea that she was suffering from mental illness and filing application for anticipatory bail - Matter was sub judiced - Article titled 'Doomed by Dowry' appearing in magazine based on interview of family of deceased giving their version of tragedy - Facts narrated therein were all materials that may be used in forthcoming trial of that case - Article appearing in media interfering with administration of justice - Such practice of holding 'trial by media' when the issue was sub judiced deprecated. In the instant case a young wife committed suicide at her parents house. Allegations of demand of dowry were made by her parents @page-SC791 and her in-laws took plea that she was suffering from mental illness. Matter was sub judiced and both parties made attempt to create documents and create evidence to support their contentions. Proceedings for grant of anticipatory bail were pending.
