( B ) Constitution of India Art. 226 — Bombay High Court Public Interest Litigation Rules (2010), Rr. 3, 4, 5 — Public Interest Litigation — As per Rules (2010) petitioner required to disclose details regarding any civil, criminal or revenue litigation involving petitioner which had legal nexus with issues involved in Public Interest Litigation — Petition by Cricket Association of Bihar against Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) challenging constitution of enquiry commission by BCCI for making enquiry into allegations of betting and spot fixing in Indian Premium League (IPL) matches — Merely because petitioner had several disputes with BCCI and its President that by itself would not disentitle it to maintain public interest litigation — Failure to disclose proceeding which did not have any nexus with issue involved in public interest litigation would not amount to infringement to R. 5(e) of Rules (2010) — Petition maintainable.In the instant case public interest litigation was fixed by Cricket Association of Bihar against Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and its president challenging constitution of enquiry commissions by BCCI for making enquiry into allegations of betting and spot fixing in Indian Premier League (IPL) matches.
