Criminal P.C. (5 of 1898) , S.339— Pardon forfeited - Withdrawal of pardon not necessary - Accused can plead pardon as bar to trial in spite of withdrawal. Where an approver has forfeited the conditional pardon tendered to him and is ordered to be tried for the offence in respect of which the pardon was tendered, there is no necessity of withdrawing the pardon, and such withdrawal is of no effect. The accused is at liberty to plead his pardon as a bar to his trial.
