(A) Constitution of India , Art.226— Quasi-judicial tribunal - Opportunity to be heard by - Right whether exists - Special Tribunal. All that quasi judicial tribunals like the Board of Revenue have to do, is to give sufficient opportunity to persons who approach them for the exercise of their jurisdiction to state their case. In the case of an executive authority like the Member of the Board of Revenue, there is no rule which requires that he should listen to oral contentions of parties or their advocates. It is enough if the contentions are put in writing and the order is passed on perusal of these objections. That is sufficient hearing for the purpose of disposing of the matter.
