(A) Constitution of India , Art.19(1)(g), Art.21— Video games - Regulation of - Not violative of Art. 21 - Same is also not unreasonable. Regulation of video games or prohibition of some of video games of pure chance or mixed chance and skill is not violative of Article 21 nor is the procedure unreasonable, unfair nor unjust.(Para 20) (B) Karnataka Police Act (4 of 1964) , S.31, S.39— Bangalore Order (1989) , Para.3(2)(d)— Applies to places where video games are played. (Para 24) (C) Madras City Police Act (3 of 1888) , S.34, S.35, S.39— Video games - Requirement to obtain licence for running said games - Applies even when games are running within space of less than 46 1/2 sq. mt. - Any person intending to use premises for public entertainment or resort is required to obtain licence under rules made under S. 39 notwithstanding that area used for purpose of running video games is less than 46 1/2 sq. mt.
