Jai Narain Vyas University Jodhpur Act (17 of 1962) , S.14(2)— Rules relating to Re-evaluation of Answer Books, R. 6(iii) - B.Com. examination - Revaluation - Marks of student in group II were increased and in one paper of Group I his marks were reduced from 48 to 31 - As his result would have been adversely @page-Raj244affected by reduction of his marks in one paper, University awarded 36 marks in said paper by virtue of R. 6(iii) of Rules and placed him in Second Division - His plea that University ought to have placed him in First Division by considering his marks in said paper of Group I as 48 with increased marks in Group II - Is not tenable - Student while taking advantage of increased marks should also accept disadvantage of decreased marks on re-evaluation.
